I'm not sure where this can be asked, but under what circumstances should one make a sigil or something similar for their tulpa?

@Daisy It can be helpful as a focusing tool, but not necessary in any capacity. Many people use sigils for egregores which are just like tulpas but made by a group rather than an individual.

Well the sigil would be a symbol to represent your tulpa so that you have a place to focus your efforts. If you are thinking of the traditional use of the necklace or bracelet then that is to remind you to force, not to represent your tulpa, but if you want to embody the thought of your tulpa in a necklace then that would work just as well.

For a half projection (a projection while awake) there are a few different ways to do it.

The first is to sit and imagine yourself somewhere else. Continuously send energy to your body that you are imagining in another spot. As you do this, you are transitioning particles of one of your spiritual bodies to this new spot. Keep doing this until you feel resistance of doing anymore. Once you are done, concentrate on the feelings of this secondary body outside of you. Feel it as your own and concetrate on all its senses. See things from its perspective rather than yours. Keep practicing this and eventually it will become normal for you.

The second is to imagine the place you want to project to. Focus on the one thing you know is there and exactly how you know it looks. Pick a spot somewhere near and and then concentrate on that. Build up your energy as if you were getting ready to blast it out. Now with force, shoot your spiritual bodies to that spot you imagined. This method is good for having a strong influence while projecting.

Another is to get as good of a grip on your spiritual senses as possible and try to control that body. When doing this, simply walk out of your body then go wherever you want. This requires the least effort energy wise and is closest to how full projections are done.

Here's another question, I've not found a good place to ask it: What would happen if you, or your tulpa, were to tag themselves with a sigil? I recently drew one, charged it and put it in my backyard, but had to take it back inside as to not have it be destroyed by leafblowers and what not. Now it feels strange and tickles when I hold it, and evidently Celeste touched it, and I don't know if that did anything, but it brought on the question of tagging? I've heard of conceptual tagging, where you put a sigil on someplace while reading a book and visualizing, and that made me wonder what would happen if I put a sigil on Celeste or something.

It would depend on what the sigil was programmed to do. Most sigils are just links to things and in that case it would be like making a roadway between Celeste and what the sigil is connected to, sharing energy between them. If the sigil had a purpose then most likely it would act on Celeste with that purpose, alternatively pulling energy from Celeste to act on that purpose. Special exceptions may apply. (edited)

I don't know enough about magic to give an informed answer, but I would think anything associated with power or sacredness would give you intense feelings. I don't know how tagging a sigil to myself or my host would work.

Hi all, new to the server. I just discovered today what a tulpa is, and I was curious about effects of having a tulpa would be on an empath?

Being an empath would make communicating with a tulpa easier. I can't think of any other things.

No, they cannot become a "real person" in the sense that they will have a real body, standing in front of you and able to be seen and interact with the real world like any other human. However, they can have a real mind, with their own thoughts and feelings unique from yours. Some tulpamancers can also train themselves to hallucinate their tulpa, so that you can experience them with your own senses, but they won't be any more physically real than say, a dream in that scenario. Just something that your mind tricks you into perceiving when its not really there. So, the flat answer is no, but they can seem real in many ways with enough practice. And no other person will ever really be able to see them besides you, either. They cannot be seen by any other person no more so than another person can see their thoughts. One would have to be able to read your thoughts (as in, telepathy) to experience your tulpa firstand. tl;dr: It's pretty much impossible as far as science is concerned

I mean you can do just about anything, the issue is how much time it would take. I have seen people relentlessly practice to a very specific skill such as levitating an object and they get a ton closer in half a year than I have in years. Doing it in a reasonable time is more of the problem though.

My new world theory I would call it

So what I would like to talk about is my theory called “the new world theory” In which our world did have incredible magick and was amazing then it is majorly mislead now, but at some point I theorize that the higher power saw that it brought danger and soon go to the point that they acted by two set options. 1. change the rules and make it safe and reset everything, 2. they destroy the world or left it behind and created a new one that is now ours and made it safe. Feel like adding or discussing about my idea
